A Shared Mission in College Golf Development
In 2015, ACDS was named an Official Partner of the AJGA. ACDS shares in the mission of the AJGA in developing and preparing junior golfers for college golf. As an Official Partner, ACDS is responsible for providing junior athletes with education, mentorship, preparation guidelines and AJGA playing opportunities to achieve their goals for College golf.
ACDS staff attends dozens of AJGA events each year, often while traveling with ACDS student-athletes. While on-site at AJGA events, ACDS speaks at both parents and players meetings, answers parents’ questions about college golf preparation and the athletic development process throughout the week, and always enjoys watching the world’s top junior golfers compete for PBE status.
ACDS Tournament Sponsorship
As Official Partner of the AJGA, ACDS is an active contributor to junior golf and supports the development of over 6000 junior golfers. ACDS lends its name to the Junior All-Star Series, the collection of AJGA events specifically designed for boys and girls age 12-15 years old. The ACDS Junior All-Star Series consists of 16 – 20 events each year and is a major focal point of college coaches. The competition provides an opportunity for younger members to develop their skills and build Performance Based Entry status to earn entry into Open tournaments.
ACDS also lends its name to the ACDS Championship at Lake Merced and the ACDS / Ryan Moore Championship at Oakbrook, two AJGA Open event held respectively at Lake Merced Golf Club in the San Francisco area and Oakbrook Golf Club in Lakewood, Washington near Seattle.
